Mikerphone Brewing is Beyond Excited to welcome one of our Favorite Bands: MODEL STRANGER back to the Brewery! Model Stranger put on an AMAZING performance here back before the end times and having them back is a dream come true!
Model Stranger was founded in 2009 in Chicago, IL. The band has built its reputation primarily on its high-energy live performances, touring and the variety of its sonic influences. They draw inspiration from the 60’s to 90’s era of Rock and Roll. The Chicago Press dubbed them “rock n’ roll classicists” and describes them as “an eclectic synthesis of psychedelic grunge and classic rock.” The trio describes themselves as “an analog band living in a digital world.”
Any lover of rock will feel at home with the band’s sound while also experiencing a new and unique style. The band consists of vocalist and guitarist Stephen Francis, bassist Kevin James, and drummer Vincent Joseph. The band has more recently played shows at Chicago’s Cubby Bear and G-Man Tavern, as well as playing the BRE Summer Concert Series as well as Begyle/Dovetail Brewing’s ‘Mayfestiversary’.
We’ll also have FORK n FRY: a Mobile Poutinerie delivering hot, fresh fries and poutines that will have you returning for more!
